On March 13, 2021, Domino’s will start offering pizza orders within Decentraland, as NFTplazas reports. You order virtually and get a physical meal delivered to your doorsteps IRL (in real life).

Not exactly the process, but you get the picture.

Not only the price of land and buildings have sky-rocketed in the last months, but also the possibilities and their actual use cases are becoming reality in metaverses like Decentraland.

Artists and galleries exhibit NFT pieces in their own buildings or run pop-up exhibitions in other people’s buildings and land. And other industries like the hospitality and food & beverages sector are following now.

The pizza sale will start on Saturday, March 13th at 6 PM PST and is only available for US-residents. Pizza lovers can pay with $MANA, the official currency of the metaverse Decentraland.

I hope more and more healthy and ethically correct companies will get active in this space and settle their own representative and functional structures there.

It will be amazing to observe how the audience will react to each company’s virtual place and their approaches to generating more reach to end-customers in places like Decentraland and Cryptovoxels!

What do you think about this? Amazing evolutionary progress? Or useless stuff? Life is a simulation anyways? What would be a cool thing to be able to do or order in a virtual world?

Let the readers and me know in the comments! Thank you.
