The very first iterations of a famous gaming character will be available in an NFT auction beginning of July. Based on Ingo Mesche’s creative work the character developed into other versions and the game was downloaded more than 100 million times.

Do you remember this guy?
  • The character of the Moorhuhn is based on a graphical work of Ingo Mesche from the year 1998.
  • First-generation iterations of digital entities usually reach high prices. For example a digital copy of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s first tweet was sold for $2.9 million, or the source code of the WWW at Sotheby’s (Status on June 26: $2.2 million bid, auction ends June 30).
  • The artist has a strong background in Demoscene, which was made national heritage by UNESCO.
  • Ingo Mesche worked for clients including Apple, Sony, Warner Brothers, Google, Coca Cola, Swissair, Unilever, NASA, Swiss Government, UNICEF, and others
  • Not only retro gaming enthusiasts, or lovers of historic cultural pieces might see a good investment here, but also fine art collectors who want to get their feet wet in the crypto art industry might be interested in this opportunity.
